A first tournament as a golf professional for Étienne Brault
“If I could, I would tee-off right now!”
Étienne Brault (Pinegrove) is quite excited to be part of the field of the Mackenzie Investments Open to be held from September 2 to 8, 2019, at the Elm Ridge Country Club.
It will be his first tournament as a golf professional. “It is highly motivating to start my career with such a notorious tournament. I just can’t wait to get out there and play.”
For the 23 year-old, participating in this event surely will be quite a learning experience. “As an amateur player, you rarely get the chance to compete over four rounds. I will have to get used to this pace and the Mackenzie will be a good opportunity to get prepared for future challenges.”
This season, the Spring Open champion and member of Team Québec at the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship also earned his participation in the RBC Canadian Open and US Amateur Championship.
At the Mackenzie Investments Open, Étienne Brault is looking forward to a top-10 finish. “Overall, I would like to play well enough to get my card for next season!”
